Why B4Stage4?

When we think about cancer, heart disease, or diabetes, we don’t wait years to treat them.  We start way before Stage 4.  We begin with prevention…

This is what we should be doing when people have serious mental illnesses, too.  When they first begin to experience symptoms such as loss of sleep, feeling tired for no reason, feeling low, feeling anxious, or hearing voices, we should act.

Would you be interested in writing a piece for Stigmama.com? You would have broken glass ceilings and in doing so countered stereotypes.

      • Kitt – Please excuse my delay in responding. Could you possibly tell me a little more of what you are looking for and do you have a specific date in mind? The month of Oct will be taken up with writing posts for ‘medicine safety’ and I haven’t started yet. My e-mail is sdegrom@conwaycorp.net. I’m honored you thought of me and am looking forward to hearing from you. Sheri

Thanks for posting this, Kitt! I am going in for my three month screening next week so my p-doc can make sure I am still bipolar, and stable. I waited until stage 4 when I was young because there was so little awareness, but I am alive because of my first screening. Help is out there!

I have been diagnosed with several diagnoses, and can’t stress how important this truly is. Thank you for sharing this info Kitt!! It is much appreciated. I already all of my diagnoses, but maybe it can help someone else who might not know they are positive for something. You are awesome for providing this!!
