Exhausted While Bipolar

I'm Bipolar & I'm Exhausted
Exhausted by life stressors. Understandably so. I have this. Just takes a LOT of energy.

Recently I’ve been totally overwhelmed and exhausted. A virus almost took my mother’s life. Thank God she survived.

Loving someone who is struggling for their life is hard. Really hard.

I, too, was sick and avoided seeing my mother until she got so sick that cross-contamination was no longer an issue.

Now, I’m still recovering, physically and emotionally. Exhausted. Totally exhausted.

Oh, no, Kitt, I’m so sorry to hear of your mother’s virus, not to mention your own! I hope that you both are able to recover soon and that you’re able to get some good rest in.

Just hanging out in bed watching TV or online. Not physically active.

Kitt, self-care is number one for you now. You’ve been thru so much, it sounds like you’re crawling, please be careful. Give yourself a break and plenty of love. I’m always here.

I really feel for you. I totally understand. My exhaustion often stems more from chronic epstein barr virus, but the bipolar definitely plays a role!

You are so right when you say loving someone who is struggling for their life is hard. I think it’s only afterwards you realize how much it has taken out of you, because adrenaline carries you through the crisis moment. Hope you can get some rest now.

Thank you for helping me feel like I’m not alone in feeling this way. I mentioned on Twitter I’m recovering from an extremely painful condition called pleurisy (not to be confused with leprosy, thank God!) & I’m also feeling exhausted! I hope we both feel less wiped out soon.🌹💕

The virus we are still fighting off goes from attacking the GI system to attacking the upper respiratory system.
