Intuitive Coaching & Tarot Reading

Thank you, Sarah Fader, for your intuitive book coaching session and for being a wonderful, supportive, understanding, compassionate friend. Here are the notes from our Sunday, April 8th session, which actually was an intuitive Tarot card reading.

Notebook by bed. Wake up. One page of what thinking. Stream of consciousness. Take pic with phone. Post as blog post. Invite community to comment on it. Whoever can read it will give you insight.
Keep a notebook by my bed.

Talk to self like talk to clients. Not perfection. In morning when first awake, you are free and sedated (sleepy, not quite awake). Actively dream. Take 250mg Mg (magnesium) (Sarah recommended Natural Calm, but it has calcium and my blood calcium was too high when I took supplements with calcium). Compassion. Take care of yourself. Self compassion. [NOT] inner critic road.
Exercise self-compassion. Quiet the inner critic.

Kitt, I am so sorry you feel this way about you. I am deeply sorry that you feel this way about yourself. Read Sarah Fader's blog post about parenting an ODD child. Must look at self differently. Stop owning perceptions of other people of yourself.

Validate other's feelings. I'm doing the best I can. Kitt, you are a brilliant, talented, educated, wealthy person. Writer's Block: [memoir draft so far] banal, not you. You are telling a story that belongs to you. You are holding back because you are afraid to hurt people.

Channel that part of yourself that wants to fight in your book [memoir not yet completed]. Put secrets in book. Will feel bad. Be prepared. Maybe depression. That's OK. BeReal. Stop therapizing yourself. Go back to that warrior part of yourself. Amazon woman. Fight with your words.

  1. Thank you, Amy! Just bought yours, Bipolar Disorder, My Biggest Competitor: An Olympian’s Journey with Mental Illness. I’ll review it once I read it. Have many books to read right now.

  2. Really insightful work Kitt! Thanks for sharing! Hope you are well. Picking up a copy of your book. Yay for you! Big accomplishment!

  3. The warrior was just waiting for the signal to ‘come out’ Kitt 😀

  4. Thrilled that your mom bought a copy. Honored. I would love to talk to you about family reactions to your memoir.
Remember how most kids get ear infections when they were little? Dogs with hairy ears get them, too. Coco the poodle has really hairy ears. Don’t worry. I’ll pray. She’ll be fine. She’s in capable veterinary hands and has a attentive momma (you). Some infections need stronger antibiotics.

  5. We all need a Sarah!
Sarah’s words/style reminds me a lot of Ina, who you know I adore and who has helped me enormously with my life pre-and post-publication of my book!
My Mom texted me last night & wrote she bought your book- I think she got the paperback!! 🙂
I didn’t even know she was aware of your book, LOL! She must have seen my tweet about it.
She knows how important reviews are, and she knows how much you’ve supported me (not to mention my book) so she’s definitely going to leave reviews for “Blogging for Bipolar Mental Health”
that will glow in the dark. (And rightfully so!)
    XOXOX to you!

p.s. Send a prayer up here for Lucy. She has an ear infection. Last week I took her to “Dr. Gary” (the vet with a long, impossible-to-pronounce Greek last name) & he had me give her ear ointment 2x/ day.
Now she has something else is going on with her ears, so I see Dr. Gary again @ 2p.m – arrrrrgh!!!!
I wish I hadn’t made the mistake of checking out Pet MD on Google.
    What was I thinking?
    I should know better…..
    DUH!
