Female Protagonist: 31 year-old female former psychotherapist recently moved back with parents after a mental breakdown, now working as a temporary file clerk.
Male Protagonist: 35 year-old male civil engineer, highly strung as are many engineers. Recently relocated to Southern California for engineering position.
Female: Do you want to have children some day?
Male: I always thought that if I met the right woman, I would want to marry her and have children with her.
Female: I’m that woman.

I, too, would have loved to witness this event. It would of been even funnier if the civil engineer had replied, “Should we have six children or seven?” 🙂 Then the look on the audacious lady’s face would have been priceless. lol.

I was reading this in the tedious carpool line, Kitt, and it really gave me a chuckle. It also seemed vaguely familiar – you might have told me, or wrote about it…I’m not sure. All I know is that it was my audacious Kitt talking, putting it all out there in a big way to that highly-strung civil engineer.
How I would’ve loved to be a fly in the room (?), car (?), beach (?), restaurant (?) to see the look on his face when you told him you were that woman!!!!!!
