Just about to hop in the shower and pick up my sister from the airport to celebrate our mother’s 80th birthday! It’s a miracle she’s with us. She’s a survivor of non-Hodgkins lymphoma, stroke and vascular dementia. She’s a fighter. Proud of her.

Thanks, Mark! We lived overseas and traveled when we returned to the US. We moved a lot for my dad’s career.

I love the pictures, especially the Acropolis—your mother is stunning in that photo!! (I went there in 1977 with my parents) and much closer to home, The Palace of Fine Arts.
You’re a wonderful and devoted daughter—the best “birthday/lifetime gift” your mother could ever hope for!
